Kim, a South Jersey native, is currently pursuing her Juris Doctor at Rutgers Law School in Camden, as well as her New Jersey real estate license. She hopes to practice real estate and business law.
Kim earned her undergraduate degree in Communications from Drexel University in 2012, while also captaining the CAA Division I Women’s Soccer program. She participated in Drexel’s Cooperative Education experience and was employed by both the Philadelphia Energy Company and The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Her work focused on internal communications and marketing. Kim continued her education and earned a master’s degree at Drexel in Sport Management in 2015.
From 2015-2019, Kim was involved in education as the director of admissions at a private preparatory school in New Jersey. During this time, she also coached the Rutgers Women’s Soccer team.
In 2020 Kim was accepted into Rutgers Law School where she is an active participant in the pro bono community. Notably, she is a volunteer for the Innocence Project which is done in coordination with the New Jersey Attorney General’s Conviction Review Unit. The project is aimed at reviewing claims of actual innocence by people convicted of felonies in New Jersey state courts.
Kim also has a background in business, as her family owns and operates a small trucking and transportation company in South Jersey.
When Kim is not in class, she can usually be found walking her dog, Niko. She enjoys watching and playing sports as well as cooking.
